We organized the BASK IT! Challenge in collaboration with Basketclub. The challenge aimed to inspire participants to design a basket based on the theme 🔌. Several of the submitted baskets were selected for the physical exhibition HOW&WOW BASK IT! during Dutch Design Week 2021 in Eindhoven.
Adrianus Kundert (Netherlands) and Jamie Wolfond (Canada) founded Basketclub at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The two designers connected via Instagram and took the initiative to create a digital community focused entirely on basket making. Members of the international community weave a new basket every month. A simple brief, presented as an emoji, specifies the theme of the basket, and makers respond with their own unique vision.
