Moe Kim

Textile designer Moe Kim uses an array of hand weaving techniques combined with low tech materials within her refined and unique weaves. She is inspired by her personal perspective on modern day social and cultural issues. Growing up in the city of Seoul (South Korea), high tech and artificial light had encompassed her life. Kim dedicates her time on combining conventional craft techniques with technology to create a unique quality within her textiles. Her aim is to deliver a sense of home through her weaves that is so important her.
