Online Workshop: Portuguese Embroidery with Sarah Pedlow

The American Sarah Pedlow has been living in Amsterdam for a number of years, where she fell in love with all the beautiful embroidery techniques that Europe has to offer. She studied extensively the regional dress of the villages around Viana da Castelo in the province of Minho in Northern Portugal. Register here During the workshop Sarah will introduce the different patterns of the women's blouses that occur in that region, the use of colors and motifs and she will teach you some of the traditional embroidery stitches that are used.
